About Get Set Education

Kate Taylor is the Founder and Managing Director of Get Set Education. A registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT), Kate brings extensive qualifications in business, education, and training & assessment. With a background in teaching and training across secondary schools, RTOs, and universities, Kate now focuses on supporting Trainers to deliver the best learning experience for students.
As the primary course designer, Kate is passionate about creating engaging and practical resources that prepare students for the real-world demands of business.

Kate’s colleagues and students describe her as caring, enthusiastic, reliable, approachable, and an exceptional communicator.

When she’s not writing or designing courses, Kate is likely spending time with her family, training for her next trail running event, or knitting something cute.

Mat ensures Get Set Education runs like a well-oiled machine. As our General Manager, he keeps everything behind the scenes running smoothly so the team can focus on what matters most: supporting teachers and students to build the foundations of successful business management!

Known for his approachable nature and always being up for a chat, Mat brings energy and positivity to the team. With a background as a carpenter and years running his own residential building business, Mat knows firsthand what it takes to keep a team on track – and brings that real-world expertise to everything he does at Get Set.

Angela is Get Set Education’s Compliance and Operations Manager, keeping the many moving parts of Get Set organised, compliant and moving in the right direction.

With a sharp eye for detail and a practical, people-focused approach, Angela supports the systems, processes and documentation that help our students, schools, trainers and team feel informed and supported. From compliance requirements and quality checks through to day-to-day operations, Angela helps make sure the important details are clear, consistent and well managed.

Angela brings calm to the busy, structure to the complex, and a healthy dose of “let’s get this sorted” energy to everything she does. She is passionate about making processes work in real life, not just on paper, and plays a key role in helping Get Set Education deliver training that is organised, student-focused and school-ready.

Reliable, thoughtful and always across the finer details, Angela is a valued part of the Get Set team and a big reason things run smoothly behind the scenes.

Alicki Campbell is a Trainer and Assessor and Business Development Manager at Get Set Education. A qualified teacher and experienced VET practitioner, Alicki brings deep expertise in curriculum implementation, compliance, and strategic school partnerships. With a background spanning secondary schools, RTO operations, and student support, she now focuses on delivering engaging online classes and working with schools across Queensland to understand what courses they need to meet changing student needs.

As a leader in program development and quality assurance, Alicki is passionate about creating accessible, scenario-based resources that make VET meaningful for high school students and easy for teachers to deliver. She is known for her clarity, warmth, and ability to turn complex requirements into simple, student-friendly solutions.When she’s not supporting students or shaping new initiatives, Alicki is spending time with her family, training for her next marathon, or enjoying good music.

Cassandra is Get Set Education’s dedicated Online Trainer and Assessor. A qualified high school teacher, Cassandra brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her role, including previous experience working in universities where she mentored international students. Her engaging delivery style, combined with her high expectations, inspires her students to strive for excellence.

Cassandra loves nothing more than seeing her students succeed and is there to support them every step of the way. Known for always going the extra mile, she ensures each student feels encouraged and empowered to reach their full potential.

Now working remotely from sunny North Queensland, Cassandra enjoys balancing her professional life with plenty of family time at the beach.

Krish works closely with Kate to bring Get Set Education’s courses to life, creating engaging and interactive learning resources for our students. With a background as a teacher and counsellor, she combines her expertise in education and psychology with her passion for eLearning design to create materials that are both fun and effective.

Dedicated to continuous improvement, Krish stays on top of the latest instructional design trends, ensuring our courses are always evolving to meet the needs of students.

When she’s not designing resources, Krish enjoys relaxing at home with her beloved dogs, who bring her endless joy. She loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, listening to music, and curating playlists to set the perfect mood.

Joyce works closely with Kate to bring Get Set Education’s courses to life, creating templates and resources that are both engaging for students and clear and easy to use. She also plays a key role in maintaining our LMS — from data entry and organising resources to updating assessment tasks and learning materials — ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

With a background in administration and education, Joyce brings creativity and resourcefulness to the team. She is passionate about improving student experiences.

Dedicated to continuous improvement, Joyce contributes to the ongoing development of Get Set’s learning ecosystem.

When she’s not working, Joyce enjoys spending time with her family, watching documentaries, and playing computer games.
